Work and Trade
Work in trade, a buck is made
My time, sweat and talent
Who wants food, both bad and good
People pay without having tried it
Money has value for only a few
Those with enough to spend it
For the rest, a constant test
Most just want more from the mint
Barter is better, although you can't get a house
By baking a cake
Instead there is pay, in hours a day
When I make and make and bake
At time I wish, the world wasn't like this
For my future children's sake
Work is assured, all humans endure
Earning is the honorable way to take.
