GRIDS

These are a set of three paintings.  I wanted to explore grids and forms.  Each was initially gridded and painted and then I slowly added to each as inspiration struck and kept working till they felt done.  I am very pleased with them.  They are titled from left to right: The Whole, Fortress, and Ceiling Growth. 

Fortress (the middle one) has now sold to a young man who bought it as a gift for his father's birthday.
