In a land
All made of wood Flesh and blood There I stood Soft amongst a world so hard The dangers I cannot retard So I let my fear go free And bounce along Quiet merrily

In addition to all the acceptable rules
There are those abided by only the fools These we should heed for the fools creed is to make light of heavy and let go of greed The role of the fool In time classical Was advisor and protector to those in control With humour and honesty For all the royalty They were the few who could speak freely So bugger the rules Act more the fool You might even enjoy it Still and serene
The world doth slumber Yet mine heart doth carry on As does my digestion No stillness in body till death gives its grip Few are thus equipped Sleep now and connect Our daily dose of collective unconscious Our daily taste of the unknown No matter what dreams we have been shown Tis only a piece One part of three Must be some cause for the concept of trinity Tis not just two Awake and asleep For whilst we are waking, Daydreams do creep Into our mind, our body, our known The conscious mind drifts So to when we rest Tis not one phase of consciousness There are two to the pattern Dream sleep and deep are distinct states to be in This leaves three Awake Dream and unknown deep reality The more we still the waking mind We see clearer the dream This the phase bridging the seen and unseen Let your heart and gut carry on Let your body take you anon! For dream are what this reality is built upon Stunning sunrise
Blazed through the skies Orange - Red - Yellow A moment taken In appreciation Head stuck out the window The cool air did rush Onto my epidermis Brisk autumn was the touch Awake and aware Stand there and stare The breeze A bird Swaying treest Morning Hush How do you handle the great big unknown?
Do you cower in fear? Scream and moan? Perhaps anger takes hold that you can't understand Maybe you hunker down and come up with a plan Fear is a path that comes up for plenty The results of this fear are varied and many What if instead we reacted with truth Truth in ourselves and out ability to adjust To accept and to grow in both light and in dark Our senses can only adjust when our eyes open stark The unknown is there around every atom No matter how much we learn we cannot all fathom The depth and complexity of this consciousness But we can all feel what it is to exist So when the unknown does read its shapeless great head Don't get mad, or get scarred, or run off to bed Embrace it instead and take fear to tea "Hello, I'm the unknown, perhaps you have heard of me" Say yes and accept Oh great unknown, I'm glad we have met |
