Upon my word I must say
Did not expect to wait today Since I now have some time I may as well birth a rhyme For my friend does travel here She may be near So I keep my cheer Spend my time Construct rhyme Deeper to find To see what secrets my soul Let go lies my mind holds Grow, expand; to the very brink Past the known and other's think Until a place that is sweetly pure Come upon the very shore Walk inland to see more So I wait for my friendly date The weather sweet at any rate Past time and space Past life and race Onward to create To seek and see what light does offer Shaking off this earthly coffer Growing up into the cosmos Meeting with the holy ghost Laughing at this thing called life With so much pain and strife When the infinite lies just beyond The shackles time does put uponoked Out bodies which must and will forth age Until they reach their end of days Our spirit is more than just a body Tis more than bones and brain Look beyond mere anatomy And the truth becomes plain Many seekers have looked and seen Just behind our daily sheen It is there All places All times You need only quiet the mind The connection lies in this silence Fear and growth have correspondence Expectation is the root of pain Our mind makes stories But reality Is not always the same My mind today thought I would wait not Irritation could have got Instead I see The reality I am the company
