The Hum

11/11/2014

There is a Hum
It runs from the top of my head to my feet's bottom
In and out and through creation

But it comes with a price
Desire and knowledge of how to live right
Not left behind
This Hum will find it is truth
Which can't be confined

It is older than us
The world and the stars,
It can extend our consciousness past Venus and Mars.  Faster than any cars
can carry and that's why its scary
For most they deny
They can't though they try

And this does cause pain
Like washing away paint in the rain
The watercolour of our reality begins to run and drip and sweat to the depth of what we are and what we can be if we just have the bravery to set that hum free
Then just maybe
We can save humanity
If not us than whose responsibility?

Yet we casually throw
The possibility that we can't control all existence into a hole where science claims to know.

This state cannot last
The world is flat!
Can we at least agree on that?  I've had enough of this chit chat.
Once seen then there's no turning back
Reality is under attack

People try to dominate, subjugate, define and eliminate any views that don't increase their profit rate but forget they are part of this human race.

Quest for power
The hum is beyond all that
It soothes and purrs like a happy cat but the claws they are born and bear to protect the potential power that we can shower on our little lives every minute and hour

For the hum is a door to knowledge and hidden truth
We all had it once in the days of our youth but it fell away to  a world built on lies.
That's just a disguise.
Also the start of when hope dies
But I tell you true, right here and now, we can fly
Rise

On the wings of vibration
There is a hum
It can lift us past our station
To the great unknown depots of our hearts and creation

Can you feel it now
It starts in the chest
and moves with the breathe
Close your eyes.
If you don't believe me
Please
For your own sake,
Test

    I love poetry.

It can be whimsical or epic, unbearably long or just two memorable lines, mature and dark or light and childish.
