Rising must be taken in stride
When too high we drown Over the crown Deadly water renown Then it begins to seep inside What can we do to fight the current? Strength to swim Too little to win Prospects look grim Make sure energies are well spent Must rise with the flow Don’t fight the mass Let water pass No matter how fast This is how to beat undertow To fight the swift A losing fit Must swim with the tide Just along for the ride You wanted the river In fear do not shiver Always increasing speed Careful with this A dangerous dish But many’s wish Hard to change direction when in need The faster the current the harder’s escape Direction is spoiled When in turmoil Our modern world Maybe we should slow back down the rate Change for the better is good in its turn How do we steer To change not in fear Next grows ever near Hopefully it will not see the world burn Fire and water at odds elements Get them along to the next inclement Wildfire burning out of control Wild current swirling abyssal Lets start to steer this event First we must get over our old bent The new world order has drowned some already Those that choose ignorance Have no chance for a stance In the coming dance They are nowhere near ready But some way out in front Individual leads Planting new seeds Leading with pleads They are will the take sharp change brunt They go with the rising tide They stay buoyant With optimism lent And go with the current These are on history’s side Some old ways will surely burn They have had their turn Let the current told hold of history And go where we can all be free Let go of control And liberate soul
