Soft and supple
This is the state of a living thing The softest thing is water How HARD IT CAN SEEM! So hard that it breaks rocks and bones Supple as the softest velvet The kind of lining that goes in a coffin The kind of skin found on a newborn Flip it over and reveal The master knows what is soft when touched Can be hard when pushed What is supple and inviting Can be inviting you to death Soft, hard, supple and coarse ALL play essential parts
