When the flood waters pass
And the streams all run clear Use a compass To redirect fear Washed away so much Doubts only remain Open God's touch To all of your pain It can sooth and revive Refresh and renew To those who survive It comes right on cue Let not the waters Sweep all hope downstream Let not the plotters Do acts unseen Clear as the stream Just after a storm Justice is given By no humans born The flood has now come To cleanse until pure No place to run Can't hide behind doors Out in the open Our true selves are swept Some show a grin Others have wept Wept for the truth For innocence lost Tears for gone youth To Hard reality tossed Oh woe are the waters Overflowing with shit Truth is a starter To try and clean it We all play a part A duty, a ROLE Trust in your heart Not public poles The pollution has risen Toxic and green This world we were given The earth, skies and seas A flood of emotion Frustration overflow No cure-all potion For the problems we sow A wake up call To the masses asleep We're all so powerfull With the knowledge we keep The flood will reside The waters run clean Remain pure inside And the music you'll hear
