Misty Morning Kiss

In the misty morning dew I look over and there are you slumbering in the coming sun I know that you are the one to pair with me for all my days.

This one fact is not in haze

You make me laugh and help me smile and entertain me with your dancing style

And your eyes sparkle in the sun

T’were that all times were like morning come

Happy would I be to lay with thee blissfully till the moon has come on high over our lives and hands entwined we wait to die

Reflecting back on years well spent on adventures coming in the firmament

Together there we shall be like so many lovers through history

But that is some way off I hope for the morning lets your wonder glow like a light to end a darkened tunnel the misty morning can not middle the strength of joy within your arms and the lightness felt upon your charms

You are the one.  The one I choose.

The one thus chosen, we form a bond not to be broken and strengthen it with our shared experience and support received at different periods

A game we play

Of give and take

We are both winners with our shared fate

For we have found sweet true love

A joy not even all the gods above can claim to have found

Though they also look this love cannot be learned from a book but only by opening your heart and body to let someone past what you are blocking

What a pleasant surprise

When they learn all your secrets

And there is still love in their eyes

Wonder why did you keep it

Such luck, such fate to find one to trust has opened the gate of love that now thrusts and comes flooding out from every pore to wash over all those around and more

Joy like this is not alone, it spreads like fire to many homes of those who wish to have the same to show the way without shame is a service which I humbly offer

Each morning I offer

Offer myself up to all that is

With this misty morning kiss

    I love poetry.

It can be whimsical or epic, unbearably long or just two memorable lines, mature and dark or light and childish.
