Gratitude fills my soul from the start to the end
To be alive in this universe, the odds did bend Most of the cosmos filled with vast empty space One of the few conscience beings are the lucky human race Cheers to the knowledge that exists of this vast endless system Cheers to see other galaxies and if we are lucky to someday visit them 95% of our universe we refer to as dark Dark Energy and Dark Matter leave very little mark 5% of beauty that is so very bright I call this a gift not a plight Simply to be alive and aware This thankfulness aleives my cares Just like all people, daily things get on my nerves How can so many be so horrible or just follow the herd? Those moments come and pass Gratitude for so many gifts doth last and last Here's to life Here's to death Here's to this moment Here's to this breath...
