Here and Now

The dew kissed the grass first thing in the morning
   It slowly said goodbye as the day carried on
The birds in the trees all sang out their singing
   As the sun reached its zenith and the light came upon

The blossoms full bloom, anticipating their green
   Willows whisper the secrets of the wind
Laughing children populate the scene
   The earth awaits our bodies as a bosom

Spring breathes out its warmth
   Complete one more pass around the sun
Life re-awakend and thus returns forth
   A lovely awakening this life has become

Wind and sky agree
Here and now is how to be.
