Conflict
Raging on ancient soil Men with hearts of stone blood doth boil Wherefore is compassion? Why so much rage? Springing forth from another age. Judgements cast from afar see not clearly Eyes clouded by hate Demand a solution to problems when refusing to see their own Glass housed masses casting stones Desperate people Angry and confused Misled and chanting "death to Jews" Heartbeats with twangs of fear For the same slogans heard in a different year heralded great sorrow for so many We already have sorrows plenty Dangerous waters we tread upon when people trade with hatred as their weapon The question not who is wrong or right Simply put HOW CAN WE END THIS FIGHT Children never culpable Rockets unacceptable This is not war nor is it slaughter What is the point? What is the goal? Does anybody know? If not then cease and desist Life has more to it than this! This isn't about religion Although so many see that vision This is a conflict for ancient land Born of conflict and political plan Look first at self before condemning any There's hatred already aplenty What I don't understand When the conversation should be Israel CEASE Why it became "All Jews Die!" decrees This scares me
