Bridge

A bridge to the great beyond
   Where the laws
   Of effects and cause
Are all but gone

There is more than one road
   The forks all converge
   As all the paths merge
As water doth flow to the low

The beyond is not so far
   Not over the hills
   Nor across the sea
Not to be reached by plane or car

For the bridge is inside
   Where the breathe meets
   With conscience heartbeats
From this none can hide

The beyond is truly great
   And the bridge very real
Once your mind alters state
   One crossed to a new realm of feel

Connected by separate with time standing still
   Be brave and be strong
   Release right and wrong
Gathering power towards your center of will

For that bridge that is crossed
   Holds great power
   So most cower
And know not till the end what was missed

Tis there for us all
   The beyond so very near
So breathe well and stand tall
   With faith and no fear
The bright present awaits...
