A Party

What a great time with family and friends
   I kept on hoping to keep going with no end

So many did journey from near and from far
   They arrived from all over by train, plane, and car

Coming to share, these men and women
   A public display of our love and affection

There was a party to celebrate with music and wine
   We danced till the morning after we had dined

All with my darling, my one and true mate
   Together we journey into the hands of fate

Fate and each other, our union is sealed
   Our exciting future is being revealed

One breathe at a time at least one smile a day
   Hands held we venture into life's great foray

Such joy and such hope
   With true love we spoke
