Upon weary shoulders
Joints that speak of time Does the merry hourglass pour its tear stained sands Upon tails of triumph Failures and never was A phoenix rises with rainbow wings to burn away what came before This is the now Not then, not when, not thus Assemble forth champions to face what comes together That is what’s learned That is how we thrive That is how we’re strong That is our tribe

Into the unknown Holding head up high The jabberwocky nips at soft heels He’ll be there till I fly Enthroned upon a thorned step Entombed by the final breath A gasp for air as past lives cry This will not be the day I die What next What now The pin knight asks Their king a wall of silence His crown long lost on another quest The queen gone to the islands This land anew to sally forth This seaside, sun and sand To follow upon life’s new course Is all to be a man Trust in me I hear the call Trust in me I will not fall Trust in me from up above Trust in me and trust in love That was a building last week One we could keep With memories stored in concrete Stone Steele Rubble now Piles of dirt piled high Waiting for the next building to sky Scrape the best of our spaces Fill them with places That are investment ready Foundations not steady A shaky rock Built on assumptions that might be false futures The chaos is coming Upending what we thought we knew Make way for the new We can feel it We can see it We can’t control it That scares me Right now I am free Listening to the birds and the trees Here and now Take a breath Listen You can hear the machines whirring Automatically purring Till they all One day Stop Hail the moon!
October sky I wake to greet you You held the rise The rising song Of a new age come Of letting go Of becoming one One with self Your pale white face Future written Past erased A bath in present Moonbeams the soul The moon is full And I am whole Catch me please
In your arms made of glass They will not shatter I promise We will dance till the islands sink in the sea Let me fall into you To find out the truth Behind those eyes We will dance till the last supernova goes dark Embrace me now I want to feel your warmth Your sweat We will dance till it all falls down Then We will catch each other Only to dance again
